Hi Donna!
Thanks so much for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Planning for a Disney Cruise is so much fun but I completely understand how it can be overwhelming, too!
So many activities are already
included in your Disney Cruise! You're off to an incredible start by planning Port Adventures and Character Greetings in advance! Other onboard activities that you may want to consider booking are spa treatments at Senses Spa & Salon, dining reservations at one of the adults-only restaurants (like Palo), makeovers for the smaller cruisers at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or
in-room surprises that "magically" appear in your stateroom upon your arrival. If you'll be sailing with a sea guppie 6 months to 3 years of age, you may want to book time in "it's a small world" nursery!, too. (You will not need to make advance booking to any other Youth Clubs.) You may also find it helpful to take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions section under the "Help" tab on Disney Cruise Line's website.
Ooo, does your voyage make a stop at Castaway Cay? Snorkeling on Castaway Cay is one of my favorite activities! My family tries to grab lounge chairs on the beach where we can keep an eye on our beach bags from the water. We keep the majority of our belongings in our stateroom because the ship is easily accessible all day! We will bring our "Key to the World" cards, photo identification, sunblock and any beach activities (like books or sand toys) with us onto the island in our beach bag. Towels will be provided for you once you disembark the ship and professional photographers will be available to take photos!
Donna, we're here to help you navigate through the planning process!
