Hey, Kiley, and welcome back to planDisney. Thank you for returning with another question to help plan your next enchanted Disney experience. By the way, I spend some time each summer up in New Brunswick fishing the Miramichi River and I have a soft spot for folks from the Maritimes.
My fingers are crossed for you as well and I hope you get the annual pass you want. Being a Walt Disney World Resort Passholder has made all the difference in the way I visit theme parks. No more rushing around. We take it easy knowing we will be back soon.
The annual pass use year begins when you "tap in" any theme park for the first time. You have 12 months to initiate your annual pass and then 12 months to use it. Remember, once you "tap in" to a theme park using the annual pass, the clock starts. When you get your annual pass, contact
Disney Annual Passholders or Existing Tickets and make sure they prioritize your tickets. If you want to use your summer tickets first then they should be prioritized as the first tickets to be used. I also make sure before I enter a theme park that my tickets are prioritized by visiting a Ticket Window to verify.
planDisney Pro Tip: Make sure you ask every merchandise and food location whether they offer
Passholder discounts or benefits. So much money can be saved just from those discounts alone. You must present your card or digital card found in your
My Disney Experience app. Also, ask when you are making reservations at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. The hotel savings can be enormous and the savings offset the cost of the annual pass. What a deal!
Kiley, thank you again for stopping by with your question. Please
write me back directly with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
