I'm figuring out if we are going to purchase a dining plan while in Disney World next week. I wanted to know, does an espresso or regular coffee constitute a snack or would a snack be coffee and an edible item? Thanks

    Hi George!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family and I are big fans of the Disney Dining Plan. Not only do we feel like it saves us money, it's also just a really good feeling to know that our food is paid for in advance.

When you want to redeem your snack credit, a coffee or espresso would count as the "snack". It does not include a separate food item. Using a credit for a specialty drink is often a good idea, but I would suggest paying for a regular coffee and using the credit for something else. Coffee is normally inexpensive, and in my opinion, would be a waste of the credit. All items that are available as snack credits will be marked on the menus as such.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
