Ahoy Jerome - welcome to
planDisney!
I'm so glad you found us and stopped by with a question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan magical Disney vacations!
Isn't it great that
Disney Cruise Line lets us bring some of our favorite alcoholic beverages aboard with us? I'm like you and love to have a couple of bottles of wine stashed in my stateroom to enjoy out on our verandah before dinner or a show. While you will not be permitted to bring your own corkscrew onboard, you'll have no trouble getting one from your stateroom attendant or by contacting Room Service. I've even had luck requesting wine glasses to keep things fancy! So, long story short, skip packing the corkscrew, skip any corkage fees that may exist, and just ask for assistance once you're on board!
I know you'll have a couple of your own bottles, but did you know you can also have specialty items, including wine, waiting for you in your stateroom when you arrive? On my last cruise, we had a Bon Voyage package waiting for us including a bottle of chilled champagne (our favorite from a tasting we did on our previous cruise!), two champagne glasses, and a box of chocolates. Popping that bubbly out on the verandah was a great way to set sail out of Port Canaveral. You can
check out all of the available Onboard Gifts and see if anything strikes your fancy!
I hope this information has been helpful as you continue planning for your upcoming voyage on the
Disney Fantasy - let us know if we can help answer any other questions!
