I'm 18 & my family is planning a trip for may 2010, as my graduation gift. I get the privilege of picking the hotel. I have a 20yr old sister. We would prefer to stay at a deluxe hotel. Which hotel would be best for my family? HELP!

Hi Thomas!  My own grown children all enjoyed graduation trips to Walt Disney World so I do have an inkling on what they enjoyed.

We chose the Yacht or Beach Club resorts for our stays.  The Boardwalk was always in the running too as all three of these resorts are located within a five minute walk to the International
Gateway entrance to EPCOT.  Young adults have many opportunities to enjoy themselves in EPCOT and to be able to come and go was always a priority to my own children.  You are also a short boat ride or a mile walk to the Hollywood Studios making these resorts some of the most park accessible on property.

The other location that they enjoyed their time at was Downtown Disney.  From these resorts it is a short 15 minute bus ride.

Many consider the swimming area, Stormalong Bay, at the Yacht and Beach Club resorts to be the best on property.  You can also rent small Sea Raycers and other boats from the marina, get a fishing excursion from this location, and enjoy the Boardwalk area in the evenings.  The ESPN Club is located here and a great place to get the latest scores for your teams!
