Disney Cruise Line itinerary. After all, Walt Disney himself said that at Disney, "We’re always exploring and experimenting." So let's get into it!
In going through the
prohibited and restricted items, I do not see anything about watercolor paints, but I do see that highly flammable liquids and combustible substances are prohibited. If your paints are traditional watercolor paints, which are usually water-based, I’d feel comfortable packing those brushes and paints and letting your creativity set sail! Just keep in mind that Disney Cruise Line ultimately has the final say on what can be brought aboard for the safety of all Guests.
Now, I can't think of a better place to "
paint with all the colors of the wind" than
Alaska. While I haven't seen the views myself, I hear from everyone that they are stunning. Just be sure to check with Crew Members to see if you'd be able to paint in the ship's public spaces if that's what's on your mind. Of course, if your room has a verandah, there will likely be breathtaking views right outside your door to inspire your creativity. And while there will be plenty of gift shops on board your ship, I'm pretty sure your one-of-a-kind paintings will be the best kind of souvenirs from your trip!
And you'll also want to look into the onboard activities and
Port Adventures to see if any of them spark your creativity. As Walt Disney once said, “Curiosity keeps leading us down new paths,” and you’ll likely find something fun, exciting, and new to you that strikes your fancy and becomes a great creative outlet.
