Hello, Bryce and welcome to planDisney!
Bryce it sounds like you are gearing up for a wonderful time with your family and visiting the Walt Disney World Resort while you're there seems like the perfect pixie dust to top off your stay.
You are correct that as the Walt Disney World Resort continues to focus on enhanced health and safety measures,
the sale of new annual passes is on pause. We haven't yet received word when this program might resume, but I encourage you to keep a close watch on the
Disney Parks Blog where Magical news is announced. Now, let's talk about your options in visiting the parks.
Bryce, if you purchase a
10-day ticket, that ticket expires 14 days after the selected start date. This would mean that if you selected a start date of August 14th, your ticket would be valid through August 28th. In addition to your ticket, it's important to note that all guests are required to make a complimentary
Disney Park Pass reservation in addition to your valid theme park ticket to gain entry. Since you're hoping to visit over the course of a month, this option would not work.
Bryce, with your unique situation it may be best to look at
smaller ticket options based upon your availability and the availability for theme park reservations. You can check availability
HERE prior to purchasing your tickets. Once you have purchased tickets and linked them to your
My Disney Experience account, please make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible.
While this likely isn't the news you were hoping to hear, I do wish you all the best as you determine how to make your Magical dreams come true. If you have additional questions, please come on back to planDisney. Like
Dumbo the Flying Elephant, my fellow panelists and I are all EARS.
