Hey Howdy Hey, Caitlin!
Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I just returned from
Pixar Pier's opening weekend, and I can't wait for you to experience this INCREDIBLE new land at Disney California Adventure Park.
Lamplight Lounge is possibly my favorite addition to this area, with its fantastic views of Paradise Bay, playful yet sophisticated decor, and delicious menu items. This restaurant is divided into two areas. Upstairs you will find a Lounge which is first-come-first-serve, and downstairs is the Table Service restaurant which requires reservations. The main difference between the two areas is that downstairs you can order some additional menu items such as sandwiches and entrees noted on the menu as "Bigger Bites." Upstairs you may only order "Bites" or smaller plates to share. Thankfully the famous Lobster Nachos are available in both seating areas! All of the creative beverages can be ordered in either part of the Restaurant and can be taken to-go into the park if you ask your server. Take your time looking through the beautiful menu. Not only are there so many cocktails and mocktails to choose from, but the menu itself is a work of art. You will see concept art and catchy drink names that are inspired by Pixar films and Characters.
When you finish your drinks, don't forget about the other new eats and treats around Pixar Pier. I absolutely loved the refreshing Lemon Soft-Serve at Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats and the warm and gooey Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num.
Please return if you have any other questions, because You've Got a Friend in Me here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
