I’m excited about the new Haunted Mansion bar on the Disney Treasure! Where it will be and what’s inside?

Ghoulish Greetings to you Kitra, I'd like to welcome you aboard planDisney!

Now as they say, when the crypt doors creak and the tombstones quake, spooks come out for a swinging wake - and in this case, it could also definitely be referring to the wake of the Disney Treasure as she sets sail at the end of 2024!  Now while many of the finer details have yet to be revealed, let's peer into Madame Leota's crystal ball and see what I can share about this spooky space:

    • The Haunted Mansion Parlor will join the other bars and lounges based on beloved Disney attractions on board the Disney Treasure, evoking the spirit of adventure and the legacy of Walt Disney Imagineering in the theming elements found within. A new storyline keeping with the themes of love, loss and the afterlife features a sea captain whose portrait still hangs where he had what has been referred to as a "disastrous dinner". (Could there be another fearsome seafaring fiancé to match the likes of Constance Hatchaway?)
    • Similar to the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge found on Deck 3 of the Disney Wish, this occupies the same smaller space on the Port Side adjacent to Skipper Society with a long bar and seating befitting the spooky surroundings; instead of a viewport into a galaxy far, far, away you may instead spot some spectral sightings of grim grinning ghosts who have hitched their way on board!
    • The Haunted Mansion Parlor will also feature signature drinks (including zero-prof options) and merchandise like a mysterious music box belonging to the ill-fated captain's bride.

It's important to take note that the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge was immensely popular when it first debuted and initially required reservations to manage its capacity of around 50 guests, so it'll be important to keep an eye on whether something similar may be in place for your voyage. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more of the details we're dying to hear about and come back again to planDisney for more fun facts, tips and advice for future Disney developments!
