I'm so excited, I'm taking my girls to DW for the first time in March, 2011. I want to make this trip really special, their dad passed away in July. Is it too late to make reservations to dine with Cinderella in the castle, and do dining plans sell out?

    Hi Shawna,

What a wonderful mom you are to plan a special trip for your daughters. Disney World is a great place to go to leave your problems behind and just have fun.

Cinderella's Royal Table (CRT) is a super popular dining location and many people begin making their reservations as soon as their 180 day window opens. I'd suggest calling 407-WDW-DINE as soon as possible to see if there are any times available for breakfast, lunch or dinner any time during your dates of travel. If there isn't anything available now, keep trying as there may be cancellations as you get closer. If you still aren't able to get reservations before you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, you can always stop by the hostess stand to see if they may be able to squeeze you in anytime during the day.

If you aren't able to get reservations at CRT and want a princess dining experience, you can also try Akershus in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot or 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Click here to see more info on these locations and to book a reservation. Dining plans don't sell out, but reservations at dining locations fill up fast.

I'm not sure how old your girls are but there are so many incredible experiences at WDW. They may also enjoy the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the Pirates League (its not just for boys), the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage, the Wishes Dessert Party or My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party. You could also surprise them with a gift from the Disney Floral & Gift Dept (

If you have any questions about any of these experiences, let me know. I am happy to help you make this a special trip for you and your daughters.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
