Hiya Sarah! Welcome to planDisney!
What a wonderful day it was! Learning that
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is returning for the 2022 season was the announcement we were all hoping for! The party includes so many of your favorite experiences, including the Christmastime Parade and the stage show in front of Cinderella Castle. There is no better place to stake out a spot to view the parade than on Main Street, U.S.A. as the "snow" is falling from above!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be held on select nights in November and December. On these nights, the
Magic Kingdom Park will close early for all Guests that do not have a special event ticket to the party. Disney Enchantment, which is the nighttime spectacular that debuted for the
50th Anniversary Celebration, will not be displayed on these nights. To view this show, you'll need to plan your Magic Kingdom park days on dates that the party is not taking place. Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show will be shown during the Christmas party instead.
Sarah, your best bet to view all of the new firework displays is to visit the Magic Kingdom on a non-party day and to visit EPCOT on any other day during your trip.
Harmonious, which debuted at EPCOT for the 50th Anniversary Celebration, is shown each night around the World Showcase. Between the light projections, fireworks, and original music, this show is absolutely amazing to see in person.
One experience that occurs each day at the Magic Kingdom is the
Festival of Fantasy Parade. This parade recently made its return and currently has two showtimes a day. You'll be able to view this parade each day, weather depending, regardless of a party occurring that night or not. It's one of my favorite experiences at the parks and I was so happy for it to make its return a few months ago.
I hope you have a magical time, Sarah! Enjoy everything Walt Disney World has to offer!
See ya real soon!
