I'm so excited about my family's very 1st trip to WDW this summer, but trying not to overbook on our dining plans. We're staying at the Polynesian & I was wondering if reservations are needed for breakfast at the Kona Cafe, during the 1st week of Aug

    Hi Margie,

Your first trip to Walt Disney World!  And you're staying at one of my favorite resorts. I hope you enjoy the Polynesian Resort as much as we have. By the way, our favorite building is Tokelau.

Kona Cafe is a popular breakfast spot and quite well-known for its Tonga Toast, a decadent breakfast treat. Because of the popularity and the trip happening during the summer, you may want to make advanced reservations as a pre-caution to ensure that you have a spot.

Have a wonderful first trip!  Please let us know if we can help again.
