I’m very excited to be doing the New Year’s Eve cruise from Sydney at the end of the year but I’m wondering which port the cruise ship leaves from so I can organise accommodation for the night before.

Ahoy Sarah - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks so much for stopping by with a question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests from around the globe plan their very own, very magical, Disney adventures!

The new itineraries on the fabulous Disney Wonder in New Zealand and Australia are super exciting, and I'm so glad to hear that you're planning to enjoy one of these special sailings. I think the specific sailing you are interested in departs Sydney Harbour on December 28th and rings in the new year before returning on January 3rd. I can't think of a better way of welcoming 2024 than on a Disney Cruise Line sailing!

Sarah, I was able to confirm that the Disney Wonder is currently scheduled to depart from the White Bay Cruise Terminal. I know there are many options, so I'm glad that I can help you zero in on a particular area for arranging your accommodations prior to your sailing. You may also consider reaching out to Disney Cruise Line to see if there are any pre-arranged accommodation options you might want to consider.

I know you'll have a magical voyage, and if you're interested in adding a bit of extra pixie dust, I do have a recommendation. One of our favorite things to do on every Disney Cruise Line sailing is to have brunch at Palo! The food and service are fabulous and I love to add this experience into the mix to complement the traditional rotational dining offerings on board!

    Safe travels!
