Aline cristina from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I’m a exchange student and I’m living in San Diego for 1 year, I don’t have drivers license, could I get my tickets for resident with credit card statements/ exchange program confirmation with the address and passport?

    Hi Aline Cristina!

Welcome to planDisney and Southern California! You are going to love being so close to the magic at the Happiest Place on Earth. From time to time, there are special offers and promotions just for SoCal residents, so I'm glad you are asking this question and can be prepared when those deals roll out!

Typically, each special ticket offer will have its own set of requirements, so it will be important to read through the offer details when the promotion is released. The current SoCal Resident Ticket offer that is good through May 15, 2025, is no longer available for new purchases, but it's a good example to look at in case a similar promotion is offered later in the year. This was a 3-day ticket offered for residents that live within ZIP codes 90000 - 93599, and Guests were required to show a valid, government-issued photo ID reflecting an eligible address. In this instance, other billing statements or your exchange program confirmation would not have met the requirements for entry.

While sales for annual passes (known as Magic Keys) are currently paused, the Imagine Key is offered just for SoCal residents and is a great option if you live within driving distance. If sales resume during your time in San Diego, you will need to make the purchase with a credit card that reflects a billing address within the eligible ZIP codes.

I do think I have some good news for you, though! A brand new promotion has just become available to align with Disneyland's 70th Anniversary next month - the Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer! This ticket is not tied to your residence and is available to all Guests, but of course those close to the parks are able to make the most of it! This offer is a 3 or 4 day park ticket that can be used between May 16 - August 14, 2025, subject to reservation availability. What is wonderful about this ticket is that you do not need to use all 3 or 4 days within 14 days of first use, like you do with a standard theme park ticket. This allows Guests to spread out the magic through the summer, and there is A LOT to see in celebration of the park's 70th! Additionally, you would have the option to add Park Hopping capability and Lightning Lane Multi Pass at the time of purchase to maximize your time even further!

The Disney Parks Blog has been dropping news about what to expect for the 70th, and I cannot wait to get there myself. The festivities kick off on May 16th, including the return of the beloved Paint the Night Parade, a brand new theme song sung by the one and only Jonas Brothers - "Celebrate Happy", a new World of Color Happiness! show, and, of course, our fab five friends decked out in new outfits to commemorate the occasion, making for some very special photos. I highly recommend following the Disneyland Instagram account as well to keep up to date on the latest news and offerings!

Aline Cristina, I sure hope this helped find a path to the magic for you! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.

    See ya real soon!
