Oh, wow! Your trip to
Walt Disney World is right around the corner; now is a great time to finalize all of those packing details including your camera!
Roselyn, you'll be pleased to know that you are welcome to bring your Canon EOS R100 to the parks for your personal use. If you check out
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, you will see that this type of equipment is not among those that are prohibited. In the line of photography equipment that is not allowed, selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices are not allowed. As long as your photography is for personal, not commercial, use, you'll be good to go!
As for taking your camera to the various attractions throughout the park, most rides have a small pouch in the car where you can stow small gear. As your camera will likely be in a larger case, that will probably not fit in many of those pouches. However, most rides allow guests to keep bags with them in the ride cars. I usually put mine on the floor and put one leg through a strap just so that it feels secure--and so I don't leave it in the car when exiting. Exceptions to this include the exhilarating
TRON Lightcycle / Run. There are lockers to store all loose articles right before you enter the ride vehicle. You'll be glad that you did, too. That is one crazy-fast blast off!
If you find that your camera is a little too bulky at any time, consider
Locker Rentals at any of the parks. These are located near the park entrances, so it's very convenient to drop off some items and easy to pick them up as you exit. For a very affordable price, you can tuck that little beauty away for a bit, knowing that it is safe and dry until you retrieve it.
