I'm enjoying planning all the details for my upcoming Disneyworld vacation next November. I usually buy a Disney Gift Card for my purchases to help me stay on budget. My question is, can I load a Disney Gift Card onto my Magicband instead of a credit card?

    Hello Charis,

MagicBands have become a convenient and fashionable necessity for Guests when visiting Walt Disney World. Not only are all your Walt Disney World tickets, Memory Marker, FastPass+ selections and Disney Dining Plan credits all available on this fun to accessorize band but Guests can, also, unlock their Walt Disney World Resort room door without rummaging through their bags or putting down their must have Disney merchandise in order to find their room key.

While Guests staying at a participating Walt Disney World Resort have charging privileges, Guests can not, at the moment load Disney Gift Cards onto their MagicBand. However, Guest can visit a Cast Member, at the Front Desk of their Walt Disney World Resort, and use their Disney Gift Cards to pay off the charges one has put on their MagicBand

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and continue to save up those Disney Gift Cards to help budget for your upcoming magical and memorable Walt Disney World vacation.
