blockout dates do exist, but it sounds like you've found a way to still experience the parks with your friends on their special trip. It's always fun to visit with friends! Since this visit will fall during your blockout dates, I understand your concern about discounts and perks. According to the current
terms of your Magic Key purchase, you can use your Magic Key discount on purchases of food, beverages, and merchandise at participating locations. Your parking benefit is not valid on blockout dates, however. Similarly, since the discount on Lightning Lane Passes typically requires you to use your pass for admission, you won't be able to access a discount on Lightning Lane for the day.

Magic Key holders can purchase the Sip and Savor pass for a discounted price, allowing you to nibble and sip your way through the festival at a great value. You must show a valid photo ID and a Magic Key pass at the time of purchase to access the discount.
