Hi. I'm embarking on the Disney Dream next week with my 6 year old daughter and 16 month old son. We plan on following the tipping guidelines for my daughter, but I was wondering if the same is expected for the baby. Do we tip in full for him as well?

    Hi, Melissa!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Dream -- she is a spectacular and oh-so stylish ship.  You're going to think you're living a dream on your vacation!

As far as gratuities for your dining room servers and stateroom host/hostess, I recommend following the Gratuities and Tipping Guidelines on DisneyCruise.com exactly.  In other words, guests should tip according to each person in their stateroom regardless of the guests' ages.  After all and as you know, sometimes a toddler can require just as much "service" (and sometimes more) than adults and older children. In fact, I have tipped servers over and above the suggested amount because we had a baby or toddler traveling with us who required an extra measure of patience and unusual requests.

I hope that helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
