I'm a DVC member. I want to reserve a villa but need another few points to get my desired villa. I don't want to borrow points. Is there a way to buy a few more points just to make this one reservation? If so, how many points can I buy?

    Hello, Suzanne!

If you are only a few points away from getting your desired villa using your Disney Vacation Club points from this year, Members may, one time a year, purchase up to 24 additional, one-time use points (just for this trip, for example) for $15 a point at the time of this writing.

If you can be a little flexible in your reservation, too, don't forget to look at the difference in points between a Fri. or Sat. night stay versus a Sun.-Thurs. night stay. I've moved our check-in our check out by one night from time to time, just to shave a few points off the reservation.

Call Member Services at (800) 800-9800 to ask about this option for your own planning purposes. That Cast Member will be happy to help you determine the best way to work out a reservation that's perfect for you. And, of course, send me any additional questions you may have about your Disney Vacation Club Membership! I'd love to help!
