I'm a DVC member and would like to gift a stay to a friend. Will she need to pay for resort parking? She is not a DVC member.

"Welcome home," Yu Wen! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

Yu Wen, one of the greatest joys I've had as a Disney Vacation Club Member has been using my Membership for my family and friends and I'm happy to help you do the same. Just last week I was able to take a small group of friends to the Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge at EPCOT and I treasured being able to share the Magic.

Yu Wen, I'm happy to report that your friend will NOT need to pay for parking while she enjoys the trip booked with your Vacation Points. THIS parking explanation that refers to Disney Vacation Club Members also includes guests staying on another's Membership.

While I can't officially hand over Fairy Godmother's wand, I can say that gifting a stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort certainly makes you a Fairy Godmother-in-training. I hope this information is helpful as you're designing a trip for your friend. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney.
