Hi, I'm dreaming of our next cruise. Looking at fall 2021 itineraries. I think our schedule and wishes work best with a back to back cruise (4 night + 3 night on the dream). What is the process for disembarking? Can we stay on the boat?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Candace!

We are thrilled to have you onboard. What’s better than one Disney cruise? Why, definitely TWO Disney sailings that are back to back! If a DREAM is a wish your heart makes, then by all means, follow it! I haven’t yet experienced back to back voyages myself, but I am an advocate for having 7-night cruises at the least...no matter what combination of itineraries gets you there.

Pro tip: if you haven’t already made arrangements for your stateroom for both cruises, I highly recommend enlisting the help of a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist or Travel Agent to see if they can wave a magic wand on this request. Here’s the major advantage to keeping the same stateroom: your luggage can stay unpacked in your stateroom on disembarkation day from your first cruise!

Between your two sailings, you will still have to clear customs and present your travel documents along with your Key to the World Card from your first cruise. However, you’ll feel like a major VIP because once the ship is cleared for your second sailing, you’ll be some of the first Guests to board! Just whistle while you wait by having a carry on bag filled with books, toys, and activities to keep your young buckaroos busy in the cruise terminal before the “All Aboard” call by Captain Mickey.

All of this will be spelled out in instructions that your stateroom attendant will leave in your stateroom the night before your first debarkation day. It’s like the glass slipper that Cinderella tries on...a perfect fit that prepares you for the window of time before you are back onboard enjoying all the magic that’s included on your Disney cruise!

For those Guests hoping to graduate to a new Castaway Club level with Disney Cruise Line, back to back cruises mean double the pleasure and double the tally towards that overall cruise total! As someone that is "oh so close" to getting to platinum, perhaps I should follow your lead and book two voyages as well!

Sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more planning questions. We love playing Fairy Godmother and making all those planning wishes come true.

    Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!
