I'm doing the Wild Africa Trek next month. I drink TONS of water & I know it will be hot. Do they provide a lot of water or should I plan to bring my own? What is the best way to clip it on? Vest or belt loop? THX!!!

    Hi there Allison!

I'm so glad that you decided to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great questions about Wild Africa Trek!

First of all, let me tell you that you are in for such a treat. I enjoyed Wild Africa Trek on the very day of my 40th Birthday and it was hands-down the most magical experience I've enjoyed at Walt Disney World with my family thus far! Simply amazing!

You will want to drink plenty during the Trek and those wonderful folks at Walt Disney World have thought of everything for you in advance! There are plenty of stations throughout the Trek that dispense chilled water into your personal, refillable, stainless steel water bottles which are provided to you - that you get to keep! There's no need to bring a bottle or water of your own.

During the Trek, you'll sport a fun vest that is covered in gizmos and gadgets with the sole intention of keeping all of your belongings AWAY from the crocs and hippos and easily transported by and accessible to YOU! There are multiple carabiners on the vest and another on the top of your water bottle - along with cords that attach your belongings to the vest. YOu'll be able to secure your camera to a carabiner and cord and then drop it into a mesh pouch on the outside of the vest. There's even a mesh pouch on the vest that your water bottle tucks neatly into. I'm telling you, they've really thought of everything on this fantastic tour and your guides won't hesitate to review all of these gadgets with you in advance and remind you of water filling locations throughout the trek.

If you think of additional questions about Wild Africa Trek, I'd be thrilled to assist you further. Please feel free to write me back any time!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
