Hi I’m doing a split stay at the Hilton and then a Disney resort. When can I book my LL rides? Hilton on the 18th then Disney resort on the 21st. Thanks

Hey there, Molly! Thanks for stopping by planDisney and bringing us your Lightning Lane question.

It looks like your Walt Disney World adventure is right around the corner, so let’s jump right in and get you the information you need!

Guests of Disney Resort Collection hotels can purchase Lightning Lane passes 7 days before their arrival for the length of their stay (up to 14 days). Since you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel starting on April 21, 2025, you can purchase Lightning Lane passes on April 14. You can find a list of all the eligible resorts here

All other guests can purchase Lightning Lane passes 3 days ahead of their arrival date. Based the your arrival date for your first hotel stay, that would be April 15, 2025. The number of days you can purchase passes for varies by ticket type, and additional information can be found here

Remember that guests of Disney Resort Collection and select hotels are able to take advantage of Early Entry. This awesome perk allows eligible guests to enter the theme parks 30 minutes before official park opening. I just got back from a Walt Disney World vacation and being able to combine Lighting Lane Multi Pass with Early Entry allowed us to maximize our time in the parks.

Molly, I hope this information helps you prepare for your upcoming trip. Whichever day you choose to purchase you’re Lightning Lane passes, be sure to mark your calendar, make a reminder, and set your alarm clock so the day doesn’t pass you by. And as always, don’t hesitate to come right back to planDisney if you have any more questions.

    Magical travels!
