Hi Nadine! Welcome back to planDisney!
I'm happy to hear you're planning a trip at the
Walt Disney World Resort! Even better yet, having the chance to stay at two Disney Resort hotels during your stay sounds like a dream come true. Let's dive into your question and help you get set for a magical trip.
When booking two
Disney Resort hotel reservations, you will be required to book them separately since they each require a unique confirmation code. While you will be able to add your park tickets (up to 10 days) to the first resort reservation, the Disney Dining Plan will need to be added to each part of your stay. If added, the dining plan will begin on your check-in day and end at the conclusion of your first check-out day. Technically, if you still have meals available, you will be able to use them on your second check-in day. Unfortunately, you will not have the option to wait to begin the dining plan or have it extended into your second reservation.
Adding the
Disney Dining Plan is the perfect way to account for the cost of your meals in advance of your stay. It's a great option for Guests who prefer an all-inclusive feel to their trip. It also encourages many Guests to schedule more Advanced Dining Reservations if they opt for the plan that includes table-service dining. The first time we opted for it, we ended up trying many new restaurants that we had not visited in the past.
Nadine, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay!
