    Hi! I’m going to Disneyworld on September 1st 2019. I wanted to book the Star Wars dessert party in Hollywood Studios. However, I keep checking and they only have dates available until August 24th. Are they cancelling this dessert party after the 24th?

    Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner and I'm happy to help you finalize your plans! Dessert parties are a fantastic addition to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation because you can enjoy the theme park's incredible nighttime spectaculars from a reserved viewing location along with some tasty treats to end a practically perfect Disney day. Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is a really fun dessert party option in Disney's Hollywood Studios because your evening begins at Star Wars Launch Bay with sweet and savory treats before you head to your reserved viewing location for Wonderful World of Animation and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.

    As you said, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is scheduled through August 24. There are some big changes headed to Disney's Hollywood Studios when Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens on August 29 and we don't have all of the details yet about the magic Guests will be able to enjoy after this new land opens. So we don't yet know if additional dates will be added for Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party or if other options will be available for Guests to enjoy. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you count down the final sleeps until your vacation for the latest news and announcements about this dessert party and other special events you can enjoy during your visit!

    Since you are interested in special evening activities, you should consider visiting Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. With special entertainment, a fun (but not-too-spooky) party atmosphere and trick-or-treating in the theme park, it's an awesome Magic Kingdom evening. In fact, it's my favorite special event at Magic Kingdom!
