Hello, Denise! Welcome to
planDisney.
Can you believe that you will be visiting the
Disneyland Resort in just a few days? Before you arrive, let's help you prepare.
I understand that you are interested in
renting an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) for your visit. ECV rentals are available outside of the Main Entrance of
Disneyland Park. I recommend arriving early as ECV rentals are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You are also welcome to bring and use your own ECVs and wheelchairs throughout the
Disneyland Resort.
Denise, have you heard of the
Disability Access Service (DAS) available at the Theme Parks? It is a program offered to assist Guests who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a conventional queue environment due to a disability.
There are two ways to register for DAS:
- Pre-arrival via live video chat with a Cast Member (no less than 2 days before arrival.)
- On the day of your visit at City Hall, or other Guest Relations location.
If you are eligible, you and (up to five Guests in your group) will use the
Disneyland Mobile App to request a return time to experience
select attractions instead of physically waiting in the standby line.
Denise, keep in mind that each attraction may require a different method of access. I recommend reading the
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities to learn more.
I hope you find this information helpful, Denise. I wish you the happiest visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth!
Your Pal,
Alejandra
