Hi! I’m going to Disneyland this summer and I bought a new dress to wear but it is a halter top which ties behind the neck so I am nervous this won’t be allowed for safety reasons.

    Hi there Pearl,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

When it comes to what to wear when visiting the Disneyland Resort, I typically recommend choosing something comfortable for a full day of walking and attractions. It can definitely get hot during summer days, but still tends to cool down at night so bringing layers can certainly be helpful.

As for official dress code rules at the Disneyland Resort, you'll just want to make sure you steer away from clothing with objectionable material, excessively torn or loose-fitting clothing that might drag on the ground, or clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment.

As long as you follow the rules on the dress code page then you should be all set! As you continue to plan for your upcoming visit, make sure to check the Disney Parks Blog for all the fun things that will be happening around the Disneyland Resort during your visit.

Thanks again for your question, Pearl! I hope you enjoy your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.

    Have a Magical Day,
