I’m going to Disneyland for my honeymoon, I want to go to the tiki bar at the hotel. I was wondering if Disneyland takes passport as ID for buying alcohol? I don’t have a drivers license or state ID. But I have a passport, I just don’t wanna get kicked out

    Welcome to planDisney, Jazmine!

A trip to The Happiest Place on Earth during the happiest time of your life sounds... well... "practically perfect in every way"! The charm of Disneyland Resort is so romantic (especially at night). I trust you'll fall deeper in love with one another during your honeymoon.

My wife and I enjoyed a Disney honeymoon and we had a wonderful time. Here's a tip: Make sure you carve out time to rest! You'll be exhausted after your wedding day. All those months of planning will finally be over. And you'll appreciate some time to relax and rejuvenate. If you're staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels, take advantage of the pool.

You're definitely thinking along the right lines by visiting Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. Located at the Disneyland Hotel, this themed bar is the most entertaining and hilarious place to enjoy a drink. Depending on which drinks your order (I won't give away which ones), the bar comes to life. Just be careful you don't get gobbled up by the HippopotoMai-Tai! This is a very popular location, Jazmine. Therefore, make sure that you're ready to book a table as soon as your reservation window opens (60 days in advance of your trip).

Jazmine, the current alcohol policy states that Disney accepts the following forms of identification from United States Residents:

    - Identification card issued by a governmental agency in the United States that contains the following: Name, Date of birth, Physical description of the person, Photo of the person, Expiration date.
    - Valid active United States Armed Forces ID (must include date of birth and portrait photo).
    - Valid original passport (no copies).

Therefore, you should be fine presenting your passport.

I hope that comes as a relief, Jazmine. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. Congratulations and have a great honeymoon!
