I'm going to Disneyland for the first time. I can only get the 2 day or 3 day tickets. How many days should I spend there?

    Greetings, Fellow Floridian!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are going to love Disneyland Resort! As the original Disney park, it is full of nostalgia, and honestly, the Happiest Place on EARth! Since you are used to the 'World though, let me walk you through a couple of differences!

First, you will be surprised how easy it is to navigate both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park! We usually spend a day in each Park, and then an extra day relaxing at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels with a return to the Parks for fireworks. Since the Parks are right across the Main Entrance Plaza from each other, you do not need to worry about transportation between them. It is less than a five-minute walk from one entrance to the other.

Second, the scale of the Parks is different. My British husband had never visited a Disney Park before meeting me (he's become almost a bigger fan than I am now!), and the difference he noted between the 'World and the 'Land is that Disneyland Resort is smaller. It's much more intimate, and I think that's why it lives up to its name as the Happiest Place on EARth!

Yolanda, I think two days at the Parks is perfect. But! I would suggest that you make those Park Hopper tickets with the MaxPass option. That way, you can quickly return to a Park if you missed a favorite attraction, and you can skip the queues to maximize your time! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back - we're all EARs!
