Hello! I'm going to Disneyland at the end of April. I'm thinking of proposing to her at that time, is there a better place? I will give you a ring and a tiara.

Hi Akihiro! Thanks for bringing your romantic question to planDisney.

I happen to know some people who have proposed at Disneyland Resort! And I've seen lots of Guests' photos that captured the magic of their special moment. I think there's no better place if you and your special someone are fans of Disney and want to create a magical memory.

What could be better than a proposal in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park? With a tiara in hand, the mood will be perfectly set. Or maybe the scenic Storybook Land Canal Boats in Fantasyland is more her style? The iconic Fantasyland attraction, "it's a small world," might present the perfect amount of nostalgia. I'm a Star Wars fan, and I'd pick in front of the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, where there happens to be a Disney PhotoPass photographer usually available. Over in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park, there's a gorgeous spot on the way to Radiator Springs Racers with the mountains in the background. The lighting there is stunning at night and makes for great photos. There are so many visually captivating spots to choose from that you can have a lot of fun planning and plotting.

After you get your answer, I'd suggest a pair of celebratory Mickey Mouse ears themed for wedded bliss and a picture taken by one of Disney's talented PhotoPass photographers. Be sure to book a dining reservation to celebrate your engagement in advance. My top picks for a fancier night are Napa Rose in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park. Or a romantic night set in permanent twilight in the bayou would be a real treat at Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park.

Good luck! I hope you all have a magical time.
