Hello there, Weiran! We are so glad you have brought your question to us here at planDisney!
It sounds like you are excited to head to Disneyland Resort during spooky season! Halloween time in the parks is one of my favorite times to visit and enjoy all things Halloween. If you are heading into the parks, I do want you to know that
costumes cannot be worn by Guests over the age of 14. This means that unfortunately, adults may not dress up in costumes unless they are attending Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party where the
rules for costumes are different. I hope this doesn't mess up your plans and your packing list too much.
I will say that I've looked at the forecast for the week and we seem to be having quite the heat wave, so it is probably best that you aren't decked out in a costume. Instead, I highly recommend a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen in your park bag. I also recommend taking plenty of breaks to rehydrate and snack. Be sure to check out the
Disney Eats Foodie Guide to make a list of all the Halloween treats you want to try.
Weiran, thanks again for bringing us your question. I hope your visit is full of happy haunts and magic! See you real soon!
Carrie
