Hello! I’m going to Disney World for the 2nd time:) I have a 6 year old and a 13 year old. I wanted to do a date night and my question is if there child care at the hotels or in the parks?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cindy! I’m glad you’re hEAR! And I’m also happy that you enjoyed your last trip enough to come experience the magic again.

And a date night! You’re going to love the options I have for you and your kids. If you are visiting before the end of July 2018, you’ll be able to make reservations at Lilo’s Playhouse and the Sandcastle Club. Sadly, those offerings are closing after this date in favor of a new option, the Pixar Play Zone at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (but this is already taking reservations for as early as this month!). My kids are scheduled to visit Woody and friends this summer so my husband and I can take a trip to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto on the monorail line for a pearlescent cocktail. If you aren’t interested in the evening-long play zone option, you’ll also be able to call on Kids Nite Out, which is a Disney authorized in-room babysitting service. They charge per child on an hourly basis, but this is a great idea if your kids like to go to bed early or you have a young child that is too young for the play centers.

If I can suggest a fun date night restaurant or a place to take a break with your kids, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
