    Hi, I'm going to Disney World (staying at French Quarter) in a couple of weeks. I am travelling from the UK but was wondering if I can order something online and get it delivered to the hotel? Will the hotel except the package? Thanks Emma

    Hi Emma,

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is one of my favorite moderate resorts!

    Yes, you can have a package delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Just review the information on Mail Services and pay special attention to the instructions for Receiving Mail. Remember to include your name on the address label. 

    During your visit, remember that Disney also offers merchandise delivery from the theme parks to resort hotels. Check out the information on Package Pickup to see how it works. On our last visit, we also had items shipped home instead of trying to carry them on the plane. We just had a giant Stitch and Angel arrive on our doorstep from our recent shopping visit to Disney Springs. Considering that you are traveling from the UK, you may have already planned to bring an extra suitcase or bag to accommodate souvenirs. 

    On our most recent trip, a family from the UK was walking in front of us to Magic Kingdom from Disney's Contemporary Resort. They stopped to talk to other guests and I noticed that they gave a balloon to a little girl in that family. When I spoke with the mom from the UK, she said that they were flying back the next day and she saw the other little girl wearing a birthday button, so they got permission from her mom to give the balloon to her since they could not take it back with them. It was such a sweet gesture!
