Hi Elizabeth, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I can’t think of a better place than the Most Magical Place on Earth for celebrating a birthday! So let’s chat about tickets for your son.
Mouseketeers under the age of three are Mickey’s special guests and don’t need a ticket to get into the Disney World theme parks. However, once they turn three, they’ll need a valid theme park ticket for their third birthday and the subsequent days of their vacation (even if it falls in the middle of your trip).
While you're at Disney World, don’t forget to pick up a complimentary birthday button at
Guest Relations or your
Disney resort hotel’s front desk. Many gift shops also have them behind the checkout counter. It’s a fun way to invite other guests and Cast Members to join in the celebration and wish your son a happy birthday!
You’ve picked the practically perfect time to be at Disney World because there are so many special things happening for
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER. My nephew is most excited about the character experiences, like Jessie’s Roundup at Magic Kingdom and GoofyCore at EPCOT. And of course, the brand new,
Bluey’s Wild World over at Animal Kingdom. Who doesn’t want to join Bluey and Bingo in some fun dancing and games?!
I hope your family has the most magical time celebrating your son’s birthday at Disney World this week! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
