    I'm going to Disney World in January 2012. The calendar says that the Magic Kingdom closes at 8PM on most nights. Isn't that kind of early for the fireworks? Won't it still be quite light outside?

    Hi Courtney!

         It does get dark pretty early in January in Walt Disney World!  Wishes Fireworks show is scheduled for 8:00 pm in January 2012 and it will be dark for Wishes because Disney does not show Wishes when it is light out.  The time that Wishes is shown in the Magic Kingdom is varied by the time of year and when it will be dark enough for fireworks.  It is not uncommon for Wishes to begin at 10:00 pm in the summertime and a lot earlier in the wintertime.

    I hope that you have a magical viewing of Wishes in the Magic kingdom on your next Walt Disney World vacation!
