    I’m going to Disney World with my family in June but planned on buying my annual pass in March to spread out expenses. Am I able to buy it in March and “collect” my pass in June? Or is that too much of a time gap? Thanks!”

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your family in June! 

    I can certainly understand wanting to purchase your annual pass early in order to spread out your expenses. You'll be happy to know you can purchase your annual pass in March, but wait until June to activate it. I've previously purchased an annual pass several months prior to my Walt Disney World vacation, but did not activate it until the first day I visited a theme park. Although you can activate your pass at any Walt Disney World theme park ticket window or Guest Relations at Disney Springs, I recommend waiting to activate it on the first day you visit a theme park. 

    After purchasing your annual pass, you can customize and order your complimentary MagicBand. Be sure to link your annual pass to your Disney account in order to book FastPass+ selections in advance.
