    I'm going to Disney World from August 22 to 26 but I saw that there are no parades and firework at the castle for MK for those dates. Do you think they will enter these shows later or are not there?

    I'm happy to hear you've already got a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the horizon. There's no better feeling than counting down the days until a visit to the most magical place on earth!

    My favorite part of spending the day at Magic Kingdom Park is waiting for nightfall, when the skies behind Cinderella Castle light up with gorgeous fireworks. For years, I've enjoyed Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, the evening fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. Beginning May 12th, guests will get to experience an ALL NEW fireworks spectacular: Happily Ever After. I'll be sad to see Wishes go, but I can't wait to see the new show, and see all the special effects Disney has in store for us! While the entertainment schedule for your travel dates is unavailable at this time, I'm sure it won't be long until times are posted for the fireworks show in late August.

    As for parades, at this time, Magic Kingdom Park does not feature a nighttime parade. The Main Street Electrical Parade moved to Disneyland this fall, and has not yet been replaced. My fingers are crossed that soon we'll hear an announcement about a new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom! In the meantime, guests can enjoy the afternoon parade, Disney Festival of Fantasy. Featuring lots of favorite Disney Characters, gorgeous costumes, beautiful floats, and a steampunk-inspired fire-breathing dragon, Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is breathtaking. I try not to miss it when I visit!
