Ahoy, Kimberly, and welcome to planDisney. Your Bahamian cruise is almost here! Soon, you'll be enjoying expansive ocean views, amazing entertainment, and lots of Disney magic. Let's talk about the themed nights you can look forward to!
Your August cruise has two themed nights scheduled. Day 2 (Castaway Cay) has an optional dress-up night when Guests can wear something fancy to dinner. While it has a different name than the formal night typically offered on longer itineraries, the idea is similar. Day 3 (Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point) is
Pirate Night, one of my favorite evenings onboard. There will be a themed dinner, an exciting deck party, special activities throughout the ship, and even fireworks at sea (weather permitting). Feel free to dress like a pirate for extra fun!
The schedule is subject to change, so it's a good idea to confirm the details in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board the ship. Once you're connected to the onboard Wi-Fi, the app will display the most up-to-date information for your sailing, including rotational dining, Broadway-style shows, Character greetings, trivia, karaoke, movies, and more.
One of the things I love most about your itinerary is the opportunity to visit both of Disney's private island destinations. You'll be able to experience the charm of each one! If you like the idea of time in the water, look into snorkeling in the lagoon at
Castaway Cay. I don't want to spoil any surprises, but I'll say I felt a little like Ariel searching for treasures under the sea! At
Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, I recommend stopping by the Goombay Cultural Center before relaxing on the beach.
Kimberly, I hope your Bahamian cruise is full of happy moments and fun adventures. If you think of any other questions between now and embarkation day, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Smooth sailing ahead,
Kriss
