I'm going to Disney for a week with a 2.5 and 5 yr olds. I know BOTH will be pooped at the end of these long days and a stroller would be nice. But should I get a double or two singles? Two seems like a pain, but is a double too hard to maneuver? TIA!

    Hi Adele!

You have got an excellent question and one that I have experience with due to having vacationed at Walt Disney World with my 4 children.  To simply answer your question about maneuverability I can tell you that the double strollers featured at Walt Disney World are quite easy to push and maneuver.   They are considerably easier than conventional tandem double strollers and are more akin to jogging type strollers. I have used the single as well as the double strollers and found both to be easy to push and make turns with nearly a zero turn radius.  If you are planning on renting inside the theme parks, you may ask to have a look at them first to determine which would be best for your situation.

Since your youngest is only 2.5, another consideration you might think about is to bring two umbrella strollers for use outside of the parks or possibly renting a stroller from a Disney featured company for use all over the Walt Disney Resort and not just in the theme parks.  Here is a link for Disney Stroller Rentals and Featured Providers.  At the bottom of the page you will find the list of some companies who can rent strollers to you for use during your stay.  The beauty of having a stroller outside of the theme parks is that when your children are tired you won't have to carry them back to the resort hotel.  I also have found it rather nice to pop the kiddos in the stroller a the resort hotel for a quick walk to the food court.

I hope this information helps you in making your decision.  If you have any more questions, please come back and visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help!

    Blessings,
