Hi! I’m going to Disney in October. My family had the Disney dining plan and would like to use our credits at The Boathouse. Since there are four of us,would we be able to share the baked Alaska that says serves four instead of getting individual desserts

    Hi Bailee,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! My husband and I always schedule one date night without the kids when we’re on vacation with our family, and The BOATHOUSE is our favorite restaurant to visit together. If the weather is nice, we love the outdoor seating with views of the water.

Since we visit The BOATHOUSE on date nights, we usually choose the smaller dessert options, like the Key Lime Pie or Macadamia Turtle Pie. So, I reached out to a Cast Member to ask about the S’mores Baked Alaska. Cast Member Whitleigh shared that the Baked Alaska does not qualify as a dessert option when using the Disney Dining Plan. She did explain that you can purchase it as a separate item if you’d like. Previously, the Baked Alaska needed to be ordered in advance, but that is no longer the case. At this time, The BOATHOUSE would redeem 2 Table-Service meals from your dining plan for each person dining.

I hope this helps, Bailee! You can start making your dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, so you have some time to think about your options! If you have any more questions, we’d love to help at planDisney!
