Ahoy, Malynn! You ask a great question! I’m happy to help.
I’m glad you’re thinking about your travel documentation early. While Disney Cruise Line encourages everyone to travel with a passport, legal permanent residents of the United States can use an original state-issued birth certificate and government-issued photo ID. Children aged 15 and under don't require a photo ID. For detailed travel guidelines, please visit the Disney Cruise Line website, navigate to "Already Booked," and choose "
Travel Documentation."
Don't forget to keep your Key to the World Card and a valid photo ID handy when disembarking at
Nassau and
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Your card will be scanned when you leave and return to the ship. You can store your birth certificates in your stateroom safe for safekeeping.
I'm eagerly preparing for my trip to Lighthouse Point this summer. I'm excited to see how Disney infuses Bahamian culture into the island. I've been keeping up with all the news on the Disney Parks Blog, and they just shared a glimpse of the new merchandise. Those
Mouse Ears are absolutely charming!
