Welcome back to planDisney, Mary Jane! It's great to see you here planning your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Mary Jane, this question is close to my heart because I'm always trying to add on another day, another evening, another park, another meal... well... you get the idea! There is no such thing as too much pixie dust! In fact, my husband and I are visiting next week and I just added on a night at
Disney's Old Key West Resort at the beginning of our trip.
Now, the quick answer to your question is maybe. If you are asking if you can add another theme park day to your 4-day standard ticket, making it a 5-day standard ticket, the answer is yes. You'll just need to visit
a Guest Relations location when you arrive (or before you use the final day of your 4-day ticket). If you are asking if you can add another full day and night to your whole vacation package, that will depend on
Disney Resort Hotel availability. In this case, you can also chat with a Cast Member at Guest Relations, but note that it's possible the accommodations you have booked may not be available last minute. Please also be aware that
Disney Dining Plans are for the length of your resort stay, so adding on an extra night would also extend your Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan.
Mary Jane, I hope this helps as you're thinking ahead to 2024. If you find yourself in a situation where you'd like to add on another night at your Disney Resort Hotel, but due to availability, that is not an option, I would encourage you to consider another Disney Resort Hotel (as an entirely separate reservation). My family and I have really enjoyed "split stays" where we experience more than one resort in the same vacation. We love checking out other pools and
dining venues all around Walt Disney World.
No matter if you choose to keep your original vacation plan or add on, I'll be wishing on a star that you have an unforgettable visit. Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions.
