I’m going to Disney land soon and I want to dress up as my favorite character Mandalorian and I want to know if can dress up like on so I can cosplay but I won’t wear a helmet and I won’t bring any weapons and I’m ok with a security search just want to see

Bright Suns, Jordan! Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're ready to journey to a galaxy far, far away... right in sunny California! I love your enthusiasm for wanting to represent the way of the Mandalore on your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort. "This is the way" to show your fandom!

Now, regarding arriving in full Beskar armor, even without the helmet or weapons (wise choices, a true bounty hunter knows the local customs!), there are a few Galactic Empire... I mean, Disneyland Resort guidelines to be aware of. For day-to-day missions in the parks, costumes are generally reserved for younger Padawans, those Guests aged 13 and under. We wouldn't want any confusion between Guests and the amazing characters who bring the stories to life—or for anyone to feel like they're facing off with an actual bounty hunter when they're just trying to get a churro!

However, there are special transmissions and occasions where the rules shift a bit, like the much-anticipated Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. During these ticketed events, teen and adult Guests can often wear costumes, though there are still specific guidelines to follow to ensure everyone's safety and fun. You can find all the current details on those special event costume guidelines over on the Disneyland Resort Dress Code FAQ page. You would have been in your element at the recent Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite events. Those were the perfect hyperspace jump points for adult Guests to showcase their incredible Star Wars costumes. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements of future events—you never know when another Star Wars Nite might return from the outer rim, perhaps next spring!

But don't stow away your Mandalorian spirit just yet! While a full costume might be off the manifest for a regular park day, there are still many ways to channel your inner Din Djarin. You might consider "DisneyBounding" as the Mandalorian. This is a super fun and creative approach where you use regular clothing items and color schemes—think earthy tones like browns and grays, perhaps a cool vest or jacket, and maybe some silver accessories—to pay homage to your favorite characters. It's all about capturing the vibe!

Another fantastic way to immerse yourself is to make a course for Batuu. Walking into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is like stepping right onto another planet! There, you can find incredible themed apparel and accessories at the local merchant stalls that are perfectly acceptable to wear throughout the park, allowing you to acquire some new "assets" for your collection. While on Batuu, you could even consider building your own astromech droid at the Droid Depot or assembling a custom lightsaber at Savi's Workshop. These experiences create amazing souvenirs that truly make you feel part of the Star Wars universe. And be sure to keep an eye out as you explore the Black Spire Outpost; you might even spot the Mandalorian himself, along with Grogu, on their own galactic adventures.

So, Jordan, while your full Mandalorian armor might need to await a special assignment like a future Star Wars Nite, your adventure is just beginning! Wishing you a journey filled with magic and discovery! May the Force be with you!
