I'm going to Disney Feb 15-17. My daughter desperately wants to meet Mary Poppins. I can only strike out so many times. Could you please help point me in the correct direction? I can't take the heartbreak anymore. Thx.

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Katie!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! In just a few months, you are about to step into a place where every corner feels like a storybook waiting to come alive. I know you can't wait to experience the sights, the sounds, and those unforgettable moments that make your heart do a happy dance. We all know your adventure is going to be pure MAGIC from the moment you walk through the gates!

Get ready because you are hopefully about to become the greatest and most practically perfect parent ever! This is your moment to swoop in like Mary herself, with her umbrella, carpetbag, and all, and make a MAGICAL meet-and-greet finally happen. I can 100% feel the heartbreak pressure in your message, so let’s get you pointed in the right direction so this time, you won’t strike out. Our goal is that you will hit a supercalifragilistic home run!

I just verified with a Cast Member that Mary Poppins can be found in the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT, and this area is absolutely your daughter’s best chance to meet her. She also occasionally appears in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom, gracefully greeting guests with all her wit and charm. Please note that Mary is considered a rotating character, meaning her schedule can change from day to day. Some days she may appear multiple times, and other days she might float away for a bit on the east wind. That’s why checking the My Disney Experience app is your secret weapon! Tap the upside-down tear-drop at the bottom, left of the app and click the “Characters” icon at the top of the app. Then, click the Mickey tear-drop to see which Disney characters are scheduled for that day. When Mary pops up, select her name to view her scheduled times. I would also check throughout the day because spontaneous appearances really do happen!

Oh, I am wishing upon a star that you and your daughter are able to meet Mary Poppins! As you continue to plan, be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information on all things Disney. Mickey and his pals have some incredible things planned, and we don't want you to miss any of the fun!

If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
