Ahoy, Tracy, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re counting down to an unforgettable sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy from Southampton this August. How brilliant! I’d be delighted to help you prepare for every sip and sea breeze ahead.
Disney Cruise Line does allow Guests aged 21 and older to bring alcohol onboard, but it’s limited to
two bottles of unopened wine or champagne (750ml each) or six 12-ounce beers per person, and it must be packed in your carry-on luggage at embarkation. Unfortunately, cider isn’t currently included in the list of permitted beverages.
I know that’s a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer, but I did a little detective work and discovered you might find options like Redd’s Apple Ale available at bars onboard. While it’s not a traditional cider, it does offer a similar crisp, refreshing taste!
Once on the ship, you’ll find plenty of places to raise a glass. The adult-exclusive lounges on the
Disney Fantasy are as varied as they are vibey. Whether you're after the upscale elegance of Ooh La La, the lively energy of Skyline, or the chill atmosphere of The Tube, there's a perfect spot for a cheeky drink and a relaxed catch-up.
And of course, you can always pop by the
Cove Café for a coffee (or cocktail!) with a sea view. My personal favorite is a matcha latté with Character art on top. Don’t forget to ask if they’re still offering the Café Fanatic rewards card when you sail. On our last trip, they stamped the card every time we bought a specialty beverage, and after five drinks, your sixth is free!
Wishing you smooth sailing, fabulous sunsets, and a cruise filled with memory-making moments, Tracy! If any other questions bubble up before you board, feel free to swing by
planDisney again.
Cheers!
