I'm a Disney fanatic, fiance isn't even a fan. But he's being sweet & bringing me to DW for our honeymoon. What is something I can do/plan for him on a tight budget? Staying offsite. He grew up in Germany so we're going to Biergarten, other suggestions

    Hello Laura,

    Congratulations on your engagement!

Almost 11 years ago, I was in the same boat as you. I remember being so excited about my wedding, but even more thrilled to be going to Disney World for my honeymoon. And I too was engaged to a man who - gasp - was not a huge Disney fan. But now, my husband counts down the days until our next Disney excursion so there's hope for your Prince Charming!

I love showing others that Disney is more than just about the Theme Parks. And I think making plans at Biergarten is a great first step. Disney Dining offers so much. You are able to taste foods you might never would have been able to try. So involve your fiance in planning your other meals. Check out the other restaurants on property by clicking here.

Then why don't you consider showing your fiance the Disney that you love. How about hanging out on the BoardWalk, with its street performers and carnival games? Or a horse drawn carriage ride through Fort Wilderness Resort? Or show him the nightlife at Downtown Disney.

Hope this helps. Here's wishing you a lifetime of happiness! Best wishes to you and your fiance!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
