Hi there, John!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad to hEAR you are heading to sea with Captain Mickey later this year! Before you know it, you will be celebrating as you head to sea for an adventure you won’t forget!
Be prepared for non-stop fun, countless activities and more food than you can imagine! Hopefully the combination of all those things along with the gentle rocking of the sea will lull you to sleep each night, but as a restless sleeper myself, I understand that might not always be the case. Unfortunately, during the late-night hours, it is somewhat tricky to find open areas and activities going on, but definitely check the Navigator or the
Navigator app once onboard to see the hours of some of the
adult-exclusive spaces onboard as they may stay open a little later.
I will say, that even if there anything going on, its still very peaceful to walk the decks when all is quiet! Unfortunately, my husband and I know this all too well from our voyages with our boys when they were itty bitty. We had two non-sleeping babies and we would regularly roam the halls between the hours of 2AM and 6AM each night with one (or both!) of our littles. I think I now know every square inch of the
Disney Wonder from those nights onboard when they were so little. So, do some exploring, grab a book and sit on the deck with a soda or coffee from the 24-hour drink station and enjoy the sea!
Wishing you a magical – and restful – adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
