Hello Hilary,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for sending us your question.
When making dining reservations you'll have to list the ages of all the Guests in your party, including your little princess. Since your daughter is under 3, she is considered one of Mickey's Special Guests; and as such, you will not be required to pay for her meal. In fact, she is more than welcome to eat off the plate of any adult in your dining party. Cast Members are very accommodating, and will even bring a clean plate to your table. That way, you can share the meal from your own plate with the young princess. However, if you do decide to order a kids’ meal from any table-service restaurant menu for your daughter, then you will be charged for it. You can pay for any additional items out-of-pocket, or by utilizing extra dining credits which will then be deducted from your
Disney Dining Plan. The only exception would be at those dining locations offering
Buffet/Family Style meals. You will not have to pay for your daughter’s meal at those types of restaurants, not even the Disney Character Dining Buffet/Family Style locations.
Did You Know? Baby Care Centers are located throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. There you can find formula, baby food, juice, diapers, sunscreen and even some of the more popular over-the-counter children's medications. These are ideal spots to nurse, warm a bottle and change diapers.
I hope this information was useful, Hilary. If you have any other Disney vacation planning questions, we are here to help.
Wishing you a most memorable visit to the place where the magic is endless!
