So I’m Disney bounding as Ariel from the little mermaid and I was wondering if I can bring an actual fork as a prop just for pictures?

    Hello Madison!

Welcome to planDisney! I have so many saved images of Disney bounding examples yet I have yet to gather the nerve to be so bold! I applaud you and your style!

My dear planDisney panelist friend Matt N. recently did a Disney bound as Mirabel from Encanto. The best part of his bound was that he brought in a metal doorknob! Now, even though he did remove all the screws, Disney Security did glance at it but he was allowed in with no issue. I reviewed the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules and while knives of any kind are prohibited, forks are not mentioned. Many people have been able to bring into any of the theme park reusable utensils consisting of a spoon and a fork. If you wish to bring a fork I suspect it would be no problem. Of course, it would have to be a normal-sized fork or dinglehopper. It must be nothing that could be construed to be a weapon or danger to others. Disney Security is always the final answer to things like this and I wish you well on your journey under the sea and into the Parks!

If you are thinking of taking photos in the Parks I hope you consider purchasing Memory Maker before you arrive. Everywhere you see a Disney PhotoPass photographer, take a picture, and then download them all! There are no limits to all of the images, Magic Shots, Super Zoom shots, and Tiny World Magic Shots that you can take and download once you have Memory Maker. I have found some amazing Disney PhotoPass photographers who were willing to try fun poses and make our day and I hope you find them too!

Have a magical time and remember "Life is the bubbles!"

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
