im going to disney in august with a group of friends i was just wondering if its busy then? also whats the weather like?

    Hi Alyssa,

I have gone in August a few times in the past.  It's not my favorite time to go, but it's not too bad if you are prepared.  Always have a water bottle and rain poncho with you!

As far as the crowds, it is busier in the beginning of August but the crowds do taper off towards the end of the month as families with school children start to head back to school.

As far as the weather, I'll be honest - it's hot, humid, hot, rainy and did I say hot?!  LOL  We tend to get an early start at the parks and plan on taking a break and head to the pools after lunch to cool off in the warmest part of the day.  You can almost always expect a pop up thunderstorm later in the afternoon.

In case you didn't hear, the Buy 4 Get 3 Free promotion has been extended through August 15th.

    Diane  :)
